About This Site

Finding someone in custody in Liberty County is harder than it should be, because the answer depends on which system holds them. We built this site to take the guesswork out of that. It is a private reference that pulls the county jail help, the state inmate locator, and the facility contacts into one place so you can start in the right spot.

Why We Built This Site

Florida keeps most jail and inmate information open to the public, but knowing where to look is the real hurdle, and in Liberty County it is harder than usual. The county sheriff runs the local jail for people who are awaiting trial or serving short sentences, yet there is no easy public roster to search by name. The Florida Department of Corrections runs a separate statewide locator for sentenced state prisoners, and a large state prison happens to sit inside this small county. Federal and immigration detainees show up in still other systems. We gather those rosters, locators, contacts, visitation details, and request steps into one place so you do not have to learn each agency from scratch.

What You Will Find Here

The pages are organized around the questions people actually ask after an arrest.

  • Help with inmate lookups, including jail inmate records, jail roster mugshots, and court records after a jail arrest.
  • A page for each detention facility in Liberty County, with its address, phone, and visitation notes.
  • Step-by-step help for the county jail process and for the statewide inmate locator.
  • How to request a booking record or a booking photo and what response time to expect.

What We Cannot Do

This is a privately run reference site. It has no connection to any Florida sheriff's office, jail, corrections department, or other government agency. We do not hold the records, and we cannot act on a case.

  • We cannot release, hold, or transfer anyone in custody.
  • We cannot post bond, schedule a visit, or send money for you.
  • We cannot give legal advice.
  • We cannot promise that every phone number, fee, or address stays current.

Only the sheriff's office or the corrections department can confirm a current custody status, the charges, or a release. This site can point you to the right roster, but the official answer comes from them.

Search Partners

Some pages include search boxes that are powered by third-party providers, and those companies set their own pricing. When one of those tools leads to a paid signup, this site may earn a referral fee, which is what keeps it free to use. We do not control how those tools price their service or what their results show, and using them is always your choice.
